Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak Shrine is located in Songkhla Municipal Song Thale Park, Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province. "Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak" or "Sadet Tia" is the Father of the Royal Thai Navy. He is generally respected by people in southern Thailand. The shrine was built in 1987 by a group of volunteers named "Thai National Defense of The Sea" in Songkhla province, including those who are government officials and the Navy. The purpose of building this shrine is for the sailors to worship before working in an occupation that involves the sea. Because there is a belief that "Sadet Tia" will help everyone escape from the dangers of storms and disaster. Both locals and tourists always come for worship and make a wish for upcoming events.
